Fifty Shades Feckless: Chapter Seven
Jan. 5th, 2013 04:56 pmI am so sorry that these two chapters are overdue- my computer fucked up and I had to get it fixed. It's all good now, so let's get into Chapter Seven!
(Also, for the record, I'm currently watching the Cinema Snob's review of gay porn, and when you want to go watch a bad porno that looks more like an exercise video more than you want to spork this shit, you know that things are fucked up.)
(OK, Brad Jones' incredibly sexy voice may have something to do with this.)
(Shut up.)
Anyway, we begin with Ana talking to her man about Hyde. Grey gets his security guy, Barney, to see whether it is Jack or not, and Grey admits that Jack had a lot of stuff on his hard drive about Grey, though he doesn't specify what.
Oooh, Jack's in love with Christian!
Sorry, I think I regressed to Year One for a second.
Anyway, there's flirting, and Ana goes to make dinner for Grey. She muses over how she and Mrs Jones are going to have to work out a cooking schedule, and then Grey comes out to chat. They joke around, and Ana makes a passing reference to pregnancy, which makes them both a bit scared. They both agree that they want kids later, though not right away, and then they eat.
Afterwards, they take a look at the architect's plans and discuss them. Basically, Grey wants Ana to be happy in the house, so he's down with whatever she wants. They don't make any real decisions, and since it's late in the evening when they finish, they go watch TV and make out. Well, that was the plan. Instead, it goes into talking about making out. Grey never just made out in front of the TV, given that his first partner was an A-grade bitch. Ana has, and then... ugh.
"I want to know. So that I can beat whoever it was to a pulp."
I giggle. "Well, the first time-"
"The first time! There's more than one fucker?" He growls.
You fucking creep. She had partners before you. Big fucking deal. Get over it. She wasn't yours six years ago, or five years ago, or, Hell a year ago. Shut the fuck up.
Anyway, they talk, they fuck, blah blah fucking blah.
Afterwards, Ana asks why he was mad at Sawyer. He's mad that they were followed. Ana reasonably points out that this wasn't Sawyer's fault, but Grey says that Sawyer shouldn't have let her get so far from them, and he knew it. Ana tries to protest, but Grey won't hear it. She asks about the woman, but Grey says that it might have been Jack- Sawyer saw someone with long hair tied back and assumed that the person was a woman, but Jack also had long, tied-back hair, so it may just have been him.
The next day, they get to work. Ana gets greeted by Claire from Reception, Elizabeth, who's acting weirdly, and Ana's very own assistant, a peppy, efficient woman called Hannah. She gets an email from Grey, who found out the hard way that Ana hasn't changed her name and isn't happy. He turns up hours later when Ana's having lunch with Hannah and a guy called Roach, who I honestly don't remember, and he is pissed. And so am I, whe this happens.
"I like to make the odd impromptu visit. It keeps management on their toes, wives in their place. You know."
YOU FUCKING BASTARD!
GOD FUCKING DAMN IT, I HATE YOU SO MUCH!
FUUUUUUUUUUUCK!
Sorry. Not in a good mood.
Ana's just as pissed off, and they argue. In essence: Grey's hurt because he thinks she's ashamed of him or something. Ana's pissed off and tries to explain, but Grey, being a narcissist, makes it all about him. He also reveals that Ana got the job because the senior management wanted someone to do it until they knew what the new owner (i.e. Grey) was going to do with it, so she actually did get the job because of him, though in a different way.
Anyway, he's a complete cunt to her and she finally agrees to change her name. Also, he's going to change the name to Grey Publishing and give it to her in a year. Ana's horrified, and Grey's all 'Wait, you mean not everyone is as awesome as me? Wha?' I hate him so much.
Anyway, after work, Ana's pissed at him, but Grey refuses to admit that he did anything wrong. They argue, they eat, and then the architect turns up.
That was Chapter Seven. I wish I could kill Grey.
