I'm baaaaaaaack! :)

Our chapter begins with Ana being very restless. She finally decides to go shopping and take the JetSki. Taylor convinces her to ask Grey first, which she does, though she noticeably doesn't ask him if she can take the JetSki. Which makes her a bitch.

Look, Ana, Taylor got you to ask because he thought that not asking would get him fired. Your not asking, even after he told you that, makes you a real tool. An you re calling your subconscious a harpy for pointing that out? A guy's job might be on the line here! Bitch.

Anyway, Taylor shows her how to drive the damn thing, and she has a hell of a lot of fun. Grey is pissed off, but she calls him and makes amends. With that done, she goes shopping. She buys a small, cheap bracelet in a shop, to keep in touch with the real Ana- that is, the girl who makes her own decisions and buys her own stuff. Fair enough. She decides that she wants to buy a present for Grey, and so she calls Jose to help her.

Um. Timezones? You at least check before you call someone when you're in two different countries! And yes, she does wake him up. Bitch. She doesn't even apologise.

Anyway, she gets back to the boat and gives Grey his present. It's a camera that's especially good for taking portraits. Her reasoning is that since Grey likes erotic portraits (they saw them in various places on their honeymoon) and he had the photos in his safe, he might want to take some portrait shots of her. Fair enough. Grey, however, doesn't follow. He says that the photos in his safe were an insurance policy, not for enjoyment, and that he's objectified women for a long time. Ana's confused as to why he'd think that taking photos of his freakin wife would be objectifying her, and everyone's generally confused.

(Also, I accidentally typed 'sade' instead of 'safe'. You can lol now, I know I did.)

Ana finally breaks him out of it by grabbing the camera off him and taking photos of him. He takes it back and takes some photos of her. Then there's sex, and he's still depressed. Ana recites her wedding vows, telling him that she promised to bring him solace when he needed it, and asks him to tell her what's wrong so she can do so. The fire, you see, was arson- and Grey's worried that someone will try to get him, or Ana. Fair enough.

They go to Versailles. It's a short little scene, nothing really notable.

After dinner, Grey catches up on work emails and Ana catches up with Kate. We learn that Ethan's going for a master's, and that Ana told Kate everything a few weeks before the wedding. I assume Grey doesn't know? That can't end well.

Ana has a nightmare where she's in the Hall of Mirrors in Versailles. Grey is there with her, but he has no reflection, and then he turns around and leaves her. Grey wakes her up, and Ana tries to go back to sleep, terrified of losing him.

That was Chapter Four. I'm bored. Can we have some plot, please?
