I am so, so sorry that there wasn't a chapter yesterday. Basically, I got hit by a perfect storm and it's left me exhausted and uninclined to do anything, so as an apology, have some unicorns. You're getting chapters six and seven today to make up for it.

We begin with sex. Wow, what an auspicious beginning. Basically, they fuck. And they fuck some more. And I am bored. Afterwards, Grey compliments Ana's beauty and realises that she doesn't know how beautiful she is. Um. Beauty is subjective. And then there's this:

"All those boys pursuing you- that isn't enough of a clue?"

Uh. No. See, here's the thing: all of those men (Jose, Ethan, Paul and Jack) are close to or have worked closely with Ana. Grey, there's this thing called personality. People can be attracted to it, too. Maybe they like her personality, YOU FUCKING SUPERFICIAL SON OF A BITCH!

Sorry.

"Trust me. They want you. They want what's mine."

Paging Josef Fritzl...

OK, that may be overstating the case. Slightly.

Anyway, Ana touches Grey everywhere she's allowed to, and then... guess what? If you guessed sex, congratulations, you're paying attention. Afterwards, Ana takes a shower and thinks about everything- it's nothing new, she's just worried about Leila and mad at Elena.

As she gets dressed for the charity event, Grey turns up and offers her the vaginal balls to wear to the dinner. 'Cause charity events and kinky shit really go so well together. *golf claps*

Grey? There is a time and place for your vaginal balls, and this is not it. OK?

Before they leave, Grey gives Ana a mask (as it's a masked ball) and shows her his library, since he never actually gave her a tour of the apartment. He offers her a game of billiards at some point in the future, and reveals that Dr Flynn will be at the event. So, we'll get to meet the extortionist who's done nothing for Grey. Yay.

They get to the event. Mia drags Ana over to meet her friends. We only learn the name of one, Lily, and we are told the only thing that actually gives her character- i.e., that she's a bitch who was pining over Grey- and then Grey pulls Ana away. Sigh.

Everyone sits down, and Ana meets Grey's grandparents (Grace's parents). They're quite nice, though stereotypical. The dinner commences, people talk, Ana gets the balls out, and then we get a list of things that are up for auction. There are two things that instantly stand out: Grey's offering a weekend stay in Aspen, and Elena's there too, offering a voucher for a day at her salon. Ooh, shit's going to go down, especially since Grey didn't tell Ana that Elena was there too.

The auction begins, and Ana gets the weekend stay at Grey's place for $24000, the amount that Grey conveniently got for selling her Beetle. The chapter ends there.

That was Chapter Six. Next chapter: Elena strikes! Dun dun dun!
