Fifty Shades of Fail: Chapter Twenty-Five
Sep. 17th, 2012 08:56 pmHey, everyone. Unbelievably, this is the second-last chapter of Fifty Shades of Grey. Next one will be a Very Special Episode, and then it's on to Fifty Shades Darker- and because I have been blessed with a week off, you'll get a chapter every day next week. I've had a look at Fifty Shades Darker, and while it's got its fair share of horrifying moments, it actually has a plot, so I'm looking forward to sporking it.
We begin with Ana going back to Seattle. Carla and Bob bid her farewell very sweetly, and... hang on.
"Follow your heart, darling, and please, please- try not to overthink things. Relax and enjoy yourself."
Um. I'm not even sure that I have a heart, but it would undoubtedly be a really fucking bad idea to follow it. Since when do your desires know anything?
On the plane, Ana realises the big problem: she wants/needs Grey to love her, but she doesn't know if he's capable of love, mainly because he doesn't love himself.
That, Ana, is a very good point there, and you need to hang onto it.
Ana emails Grey. He's very laconic, so she asks him if everything's OK. The problem he's dealing with could be a lot better, and he misses her. That's sweet, I guess.
Ana gets back to Seattle, is taken to Grey's apartment and, of course, they fuck. She tells him that she got the job, and asks him if he wants to come to Jose's show. He agrees to go. And then he sends her to the playroom for some, ahem, occupational therapy. *wiggles eyebrows*
Today's Kinky Fun Time involves Ana being tied up and blindfolded while Grey plays orchestral/choral music- basically, she can't see or hear, but she can feel him. Nice idea, actually. They banter a bit, and then the chapter ends.
That was Chapter Twenty-Five. Sorry it was so short, but most of it was fucking. We've got a Very Special Episode next, so that'll be longer. :)
