Hiya again! Welcome back to a new chapter!

Astra: We begin just before the flight to Georgia. Ana has been massaged and given booze, and she starts an email conversation with Grey. The flight gets called and she gets on. She sends him a provocative email, and he tells her to knock it off before he stashes her in a crate in the cargo hold. Why hello there, Fin. How's the attempts to kidnap your prospective wife coming along?

Eyes: Why is it that they're constantly trying to make each other genuinely angry?

Astra: Because the make-up sex is fantastic.

Eyes: But if you really care for somebody, then you don't want to make them upset!

Astra: Yes, but this is set in Mary Sue land, where abusive relationships are the norm and the characters are all arseholes.

Astra: So, Ana starts being honest for once in her goddamn life, and then she calls him out for imitating Daniel Tosh with that crate comment.

[Five minutes of very meta and NSFW commentary later (seriously, you'd need brain bleach- I know I did), we return to the damn book.]

Astra: They get to Georgia. I have to admit, I like Ana more than Bella in that Ana actually loves her mother, while Bella was an A-grade bitch. After Ana settles in and gets some sleep, she finally talks to her mother about Grey. Naturally, this gets bad when her mother (who still doesn't have a name) tells Ana that men are uncomplicated.

Astra: I mean, I know women like to protray men as drooling bags of sex-oriented bastardry, but they're really not.

Eyes: *snickers* And what's simple and uncomplicated for a woman is completely different for a man!

[Five more minutes of rage-inducing ranting...]]

Eyes: This book make me angry! Eyes want to hit! Where is my lighter?

Astra: Now that my friend has devolved into She-Hulk, I can continue. Ana and Grey are having a Deep and Meaningful conversation about their issues. While Grey concedes that the sub has the power, we know from the earlier chapters that he simply doesn't give a fuck.

Astra: Ana and Grey have another email conversation where she tells him that she can't talk for longer because she's going to dinner. They banter a lot, and there's some flirting too. The book skips dinner and goes to the next email sequence. There's more flirting and bantering. Ana sends him an email asking if he went to dinner with Mrs Robinson, and then we head to the next day. After a day of shopping and going to the beach, they spend the evening in a bar.

Eyes: I like the emails. They're cute and funny. But Ana really needs to get a handle on her jealousy. It's not good.

Astra: That and her priorities.

Eyes: Grow up! Trust him. Rleationships are built on trust- especially BDSM relationships. If she can't trust him to be alone for two days without running back to...

Astra: ...his rapist...

Eyes: ...who he admitted it was over with... *shakes head*

Astra: More emails. They banter a bit. Ana gets angry that Grey ran back to Mrs Robinson for dinner. Grey sends her an email asking how many Cosmopolitans she's going to drink, and she realises that Grey is there. Does he do any work at all?

*sigh*

That was Chapter Twenty-Two. I am so tired of this damned book.
