astra_auroraOK, so the LJ shop is advertising 'Team Vampire' and 'Team Werewolf' badges, and 'Bottles of Sparkles', evidently because Breaking Dawn Part One has been released. Or is yet to be. Time zones confuse me.
Anyway.
The Team Vampire badge shows a bat. The Team Werewolf badge shows a red eye.
Why?
I get that it's probably meant to be non-specific vamps rather than TwiVamps, but the amount of vampires in modern works who could turn into bats (not counting Terry Pratchett's- he's the only author I can think of whose vamps do) isn't very big. And TwiVamps can't at all.
As for the werewolves- why? I don't recall werewolves traditionally having red eyes. The Sparklewolves don't. AFAIK, all the werewolves in books I read just looked like wolves, and they don't have red eyes.
I know this is random shit, but I'm in a random mood. So, have some more randomness!
- Gabriel Mann looks like a blond Noel Fielding. To me at least. *is a Revenge fan*
- lion_lamb (LJ comm devoted to Bella/Edward fans) really needs to stop describing them as 'star-crossed'. Research, guys.
- Every new page I read on http://www.notwithoutmyhandbag.com/babynames/ makes me lose more faith in humanity.
- I got volunteered for a job. It may be fun. If filing can be fun.
- I like bunnies.
