eyesinthedark66. I think the only depressing part was that apart from us, everyone who turned up already knew them, and from the sounds of things, were really good friends with them. But Pete and Wendy (Lee was still in Bangkok) seemed happy to meet new fans. And fuck, they are so nice! I totally wasn't expecting them to be so lovely! Wendy is a complete angel- she gave me the Parasite EP for free because I was buying both T-shirts and This World Erase- and Pete's a great guy. Although, I have to admit- I wasn't expecting him to be so tall. Or so thin. And it was really surreal occasionally- at one point, I had to pinch myself to remind myself that it wasn't a dream, because I seriously never thought that I'd be standing about a meter away from one of my favourite musicians and the creator of some of the most beautiful music I've ever heard. About the only downside was that Pete said that there probably wouldn't be anything happening with The Crystalline Effect for a while. Ah well. I'll live.
