Daylight Saving Time is a bitch. It's 1 AM here but it feels like 12.

Anyway, onto tonight's rant.

I like So You Think You Can Dance. Really, I do. But I have a big complaint, and that complaint concerns the judges.
(This rant will mostly concern the judging from US season 6, 'cause that's the one I know most about.)
Mary needs to stop screaming. It's not funny, it's not entertaining, it's annoying. In fact, can we just make her shut up unless she's actually got something substantial to say?
Adam, I like. He's witty, he gives real criticism, and he's by far my favourite judge.
I would like Nigel more if he didn't let his cock do the talking. For fuck's sake, he's there to judge, not to perve- and he's not doing a good job at it.

I guess what really pissed me off was when I was watching one of my taped episodes a while ago. Karen and Kevin did a cha-cha to Glee's cover of  'Push It'. The judges praised it overall, but there really wasn't much in the comments besides 'Karen, you're gorgeous- sorry, Kevin, you just don't have the looks'. I, on the other hand, have some more comments to make:
1. That wasn't a dance. It was posing with the occasional step thrown in to remind us that it was meant to be a dance.
2. The song was terrible. Seriously, who decided that a Glee cover was a good idea- and was any version of 'Push It' an appropriate choice for a cha-cha?
3. They did a good job on the dance posing, but they were out of time in a few spots.

I know the judges aren't meant to criticize the choreography, the choreographers or the song choices, but really. And for God's sake, they're there to judge, not to ogle tits- and often, that seems like all they're doing. Maybe they need a reminder of how to do their job.
