 I realised why reading Nights of Villjamur was kind of... hard, I guess: It's the first book, but it felt like I was reading the second or third book. Not in a 'there's plot threads that never get explained' way, but more like so much wasn't explained that I felt like I'd picked up a later book by accident and I should have known all this stuff already. Good book, but... explain more, dude.
