Oh hai! Having successfully completed my first real porn!fic, it's time for another Fifty Shades Delusional! I have to admit, I'm feeling some comfort knowing that despite the fact that I've never written real porn before (and no, it's not going to be posted here), it's quite probably better than Fifty Shades. Anyway, let's get going!

We begin with a much happier Ana going to work. Her boss, Jack, says she looks radiant, which Ana thinks is inappropriate (even though he probably just meant 'Wow, you look much happier') and he gives her some stuff to work on. For once, Ana has breakfast (OK, a single banana is not much of a breakfast, but it's better than nothing) and finds an email from Christian (yes, I'm calling him Christian- I'm liking him a hell of a lot more this time around) that basically says 'Hope you had breakfast, missed you last night'. Ana emails him back telling him that she ate a banana, she loves him and he needs to leave her alone since she's trying to work. They banter a bit, and then she actually goes to eat lunch (Yay!) and later in the afternoon, she emails him again. His reply email is fairly innocuous except for the bit where her emails at work are monitored. Oh boy.

I suppose this constitutes spoilers, but I'm fairly certain that none of you are ever actually going to seriously read this book, so I may as well say it: the plot in this involves one of Grey's ex-subs and Mrs Robinson showing up to make his life hell, while Ana's boss becomes a creepy fucking stalker. So when he says her emails are monitored, I can't help but wonder if it's a routine thing, or whether it's her boss being a creepy fucking stalker... or whether it's routine and her boss is reading them and taking advantage of it.

Anyway, Jack turns up at the end of work and asks Ana if she wants to come for a drink with a bunch of people. Ana's stalker senses are showing, because she feels relieved when he says it won't just be the two of them. The bar, funnily enough, is called Fifty's. Anyway, she emails Grey, who promises to show up, and then... the plot arrives! Ta da!

Can I get a shocked gasp, please?

The plot has arrived in the form of a strange young woman who accosts Ana outside of the building. She knows who Ana is, but Ana doesn't know her. She's ghostlike- pale, dishevelled and empty of any life. While she doesn't harass Ana or try to attack her, she's still fucking weird, and she leaves without doing anything aside from asking Ana 'What do you have that I don't?'

See what I meant when I said that this book was going to be much better then the first one?

Anyway, Ana's subconscious tells her that the weird woman has something to do with Christian- though God knows why she'd think that- and Ana gets to the bar otherwise unhindered. She strikes up a conversation with a coworker called Claire, and we get a piece of seemingly-minor yet important info: Kate's brother Ethan will be back next Tuesday, and he'll be staying in their apartment.

Ana and Jack have a seemingly-innocuous but fucking creepy conversation where he fences her in against the bar and starts to ask her about plans for the weekend, but as is his talent, Christian turns up. He and Jack have a brief dick-measuring contest, and then he pulls Ana out of there. For once, he's a good boyfriend, asking her what she wants to do, and then he asks her about Jack. See, Grey bought SIP, and he warns Ana that Jack's into her- he's worried that Jack will sexually harass her. Ana gets angry at him for buying her work just because he's screwing her, and after some more arguing, we get a rather entertaining line from Christian:

"As ever, Miss Steele, you are unexpected." He leans back gazing at me, his eyes dancing with humour. "So are you going to invite me in, or am I to be sent packing for exercising my democratic right as an American citizen, entrepreneur and consumer to purchase whatever I damn well please?"

He also has a decent excuse for buying SIP- he wanted to get into publishing, and it needs some help to branch out, but it will be quite profitable once it does.

Anyway, while they both want to fuck, they haven't eaten, and Ana has no food in the house, so they go shopping. The next couple of scenes are played for humour- Grey has to experience supermarkets and actually cooking food. OK, he's only cutting things up as he can't cook- Ana's actually making the stir-fry. She gets him horny enough that he decides to have the stir-fry later, and then they fuck. The chapter ends after that, making it kind of... anti-climactic. *rimshot*

That was Chapter Three. Fun!
